Thésaurí Temporum is a journey of exploration — of trials and triumphs that have shaped our jewellery into the Treasures they are today.
Who we are?
We are Irina and Pavol Croft
Explorers by nature, we are rarely in one place for long.
Pavol is an art historian, a certified pedagogue, and one of Slovakia’s most renowned popularisers of history and archaeology.
Irina, born into an aristocratic family, is a polyglot with four academic titles across three fields.
2014 - The Origins
It all began with medieval jewellery for re-enactors—those who bring history to life. Being re-enactors ourselves, we first created pieces for our own enjoyment and for friends who shared our passion.
At the time, our project was called Beatrix. Yet, as time passed, it became clear that we were standing at the threshold of something far greater.
2017 - Discovering Ourselves
We had always known that jewellery is more than metal and stone. It is a language of symbols—fragments of history that have endured through the ages.
This understanding led to the birth of Thésaurí Temporum—the Treasures of Time.
What began as a small endeavour among friends became, in 2017, a brand that found its place in boutiques in Vienna, Brussels, and Verona.
2019 - The Dark Times
We were robbed. Everything we had worked for was gone. With nothing left, we made the hardest decision of all—we closed our business.
It was a moment of reckoning: to surrender or to step back, gather our strength, and begin again.
We chose the latter. We sold everything, bought plane tickets, and set out into the unknown.
2019-2021 - The Journey
These were the years the world remembers. The pandemic held us in Cambodia for a year. Then the second wave reached us in Crete.
Then came the Homo Erectus excavations in Georgia, and thousands of kilometres across Turkey—from exploring Göbekli Tepe to tracing the path of the First Crusade.
But we were not merely travelling—we were searching. For what? For facts, for legends, and for ourselves.
2023 - A New Beginning
We came back and started from scratch. It was simply impossible to do otherwise.
Thésaurí Temporum revived—with a new awareness of why we are here.
2024 - Perfection Of Craftsmanship
Our jewellery is meant to be timeless, and timelessness demands nothing less than absolute excellence.
We found new manufacturing partners in Germany, where precision, craftsmanship, and quality are not just standards, but traditions.
2025 - Time For Legends
Chivalry for Her - collection inspired by Joan of Arc, the chivalric code and those who kept faith and honour even in the darkest times.
Treasures of Atlantis - this collection explores the lost civilisation.
In Atlantis, legends and facts intertwine like the patterns on ancient artefacts.
